Hints, how to filter fake channels.
In crypto everybody hunting for your money. Scammers, impostors, fake callers, fake or botted channels, services. It is very important to do research before you jump into anything or pay anybody. Since we are an ecosystem with trending Channel, lets talk about Trending Channels. Here few hints to detect fakes:
On telegram almost every week a new trending channel, every day new caller channels, insider groups coming from zero with unbeliveable numbers.
Allways check the channel age, allways check the pinned messages and allways compare the views on each post.
Case 1:
Few weeks old day trending channel allready posing with 30-500k subscribers and 500-2000 views on each posts.
This is too good to be true right? Well, it's fake of course. Botted subscribers, botted views and botted reactions. Instant skip.
A Channel to grow on telegram need a whole ecosystem with tools which getting used by communities in months, years by gaining trust. It is simple impossible to grow a channel in days or weeks from zero to this subscriber count. Fake.
Common mistakes by these scammers:
They forget to add bot views on some posts or adding same unbeliveable high bot views.
Scroll thru all channel popups and compare views. In most cases you will find 1-2 post with only 5-8 views while other post all has 500-2000 views. Sad reality: that 5-8 views will be the real reach. You decide if you pay for this or not.
Case 2:
Telegram Channel with 300-600k subscribers with auto posting project popups but only 7-15 views/post.
Average 10 views on a channel which has half a million subscriber in any timezone is pretty low right? Yes. In this case you at least see the real engagement.
As per our experince an Active Viewers : Subscribers rate of 3-5% is allready very healthy. This means a channel with 500.000 subscribers should have at least 1500 views on their posts. If it's a high frequency posting channel (posting every 5-10 minutes) still should have 1-2% Rate of conversion.
